Connect a tool.
Start with one small task.

A connector gives Muse access to a service. The access you approve determines what it can use and do.

The standard connection path

  1. In Muse, open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Choose the service, inspect the requested access and continue through authorization.
  3. Complete any sign-in steps with the provider.

You can also ask Muse to connect a service. Some Meta accounts connect through Accounts Center. Official setup and account details.

Your first-task checklist

This is our suggested test, not an official Muse procedure.

  1. Choose one small, noncritical task and define the output you want.
  2. Ask Muse to state the available data and actions. Do not assume a connector exposes every feature of its product.
  3. Request a draft or summary, with sources. Compare the result against a known record.
  4. Only expand the task once you understand the result and approval settings.

When a connection is missing

Check the list available in your account first. Meta documents a custom-connector route for other services; custom connectors are not reviewed by Meta.

Missing access is not proof that a custom connection will work. Check the provider’s API, permissions and terms before proceeding.

Disconnecting and approvals

Manage connections and approval preferences in Muse settings. Disconnecting stops new exchange but may not remove information already retained in conversations or memory. Refer to Meta’s documentation for current controls.
