Meta's October 6 announcement expands its Ads MCP server, a connection between AI tools and Meta's advertising systems. Meta says advertisers can upload creative, preview ads and inspect performance. Work prepared by agents can appear as drafts in Ads Manager for people to continue editing.
The announcement addresses large advertisers and agencies. It says actions depend on advertiser permissions and explicit approval before publication. Separately, Meta is testing conversational campaign creation and scheduled tasks inside its Meta AI business assistant.
For a smaller business, first check which features your account can access. This announcement does not establish a new Muse connector or universal availability.
Why it matters
A draft handoff could let an agent prepare work while a person reviews the actual campaign before it goes live.
Caveat: Meta Ads MCP and the Meta AI business assistant are separate product references here. TryMuse has not tested these workflows or confirmed access for an individual account.
