Guide / Shopify in Meta Muse
Shopify connected to Muse, but the wrong store or missing access?
First check which store is connected. Then check your Shopify staff permissions and the access you approved. These are separate checks.
01 Before you start
Is this for you?
Shopify owners or staff who can connect but cannot see the expected store records.
What you need
Your Muse account, access to the correct Shopify store and permission to authorize the connection. Check current plan costs with each provider.
02 Follow the steps
- Ask Muse which Shopify store is connected. Compare it with the store you intended to use.
- To change stores, authorize the other store, then start a new conversation. Shopify documents one connected store at a time.
- If an action is missing, check both your staff permissions and the access granted to the integration. Repeatedly asking will not add permission.
- To reduce the approved access, uninstall the integration in Shopify and reconnect with the access you want.
03 Check the result and the limits
Try this small request
Before doing anything, identify the Shopify store you can access. Tell me whether you can read a product I name. Do not change anything. If you cannot, explain the missing permission or capability.
Check the result
Pick one product you know. Compare its title and identifier with Shopify. Stop if the store is wrong or the result cannot be verified.
You still decide
Choose the store and access to approve. Review any later change before it affects customers.

Still stuck?
If the store and permissions look correct, open the Shopify source below and check the current supported actions. Keep the task manual if the needed action is unsupported.
